Hello Autumn! Enjoying All the Fall Vibes of the Season

There is just something about the changing seasons that’s so magical and enjoyable.

I live in the southwest United States, and here, each season has it’s turn at center stage for a decent amount of time
(read: our winters don’t linger toooooo much into Spring, and no, we don’t get 6” of snow in May like some other places might).

So I enjoy the beauty of each season, but I think Fall has to be one of my faves.

The cooler weather, the upping of spices in all the foods and drinks, the gorgeous changing tree colors and the magical performance of leaves floating to the ground (and how they decorate the ground with gold).

I’m a sucker for fall, as it really teaches me the significance of being present and to enjoy the beauty of impermanence
(one week, a tree can be golden yellow, and the next, completely bare…gotta enjoy it while it lasts!)

The concept of Hygge has also been crossing my path a few times. If you haven’t heard about it, google defines it as “a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture).”

And I’m wayyyyy into coziness.

So in honor of fall, I wanted to share some of my current Fall favorites that I’m enjoying this time of year & envelops me into a state of Hygge:

Hear

Fall Coffee shop Jazz vibes

I’ve been enjoying these long playlists throughout the day, enjoying it with my morning mindset reading  first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee, during a chill Sunday afternoon, or a quiet evening journalling by the fireplace.

See

Tealight candles!

With the sun down by 6:30 and not coming up til 7 am, this is the time of year I most look forward to lighting candles around my home. I love the flickering of multiple tea light candles, and they’re such a simple way to add a cozy vibe to our environments.

Taste

Apple Spice Rooibos from NM Tea Co (Caffeine free)

Pumpkin Spice Black Tea

Yes, I love to have a yummy almond milk PSL on the first day of fall, but for the rest of the season, I order these yummy teas from my local tea company. Their teas are incredible, so I’m excited to give them a little shout out here. If fall had a taste to me, it’d be the Apple Spice Rooibos.

If you try any of the above, I’d love to hear what you think!
I’d also love to know some of your fall favorites
and traditions you look forward to!
